# What To Expect

## Share Ideas
Bring an idea that you have and the skills you are looking for. You'll be able to pitch your idea to everyone at the event kickoff around 12:30 on Saturday.

## Form Teams
Teams tend to form organically around the pitched ideas. You can also go solo if you'd like. There is no limit to members on a team!

## Build Projects
Hack away! Work on whatever you want for the duration of the hackathon. All types of projects are encouraged.

## Win Prizes
After 24 hours of hard work, you'll present your projects to everyone. Judges will then select some winners to take home some awesome prizes.

### Saturday, October 5th

#### Day 1

1. **20% - Originality & Creativity & Novelty**  
   Is the project new and something that hasn't been attempted before?
2. **20% - Wow Factor**  
   Subjective and buzz-wordy, huh?  
3. **20% - Polish / Design / Execution**  
   Did your team successfully execute your project concept?
4. **20% - Demo / Presentation**  
   You'll have 2-3 minutes for a demo.
5. **20% - Multidisciplinary project**  
   We encourage and applaud interdisciplinary projects.
